What colors do Aviva fiberglass pools come in?
Every Aviva pool I install comes in your choice of seven gelcoat colors: Tahiti Blue, Maldives Blue, Amalfi Turquoise, Exuma Silver, Gibraltar Grey, Seychelles Sand, and Bora Bora Black.
These are not painted finishes. The color is built into the gelcoat surface of the pool shell itself, which is why Aviva backs it with a 10 year gelcoat warranty. The gelcoat is formulated to hold up against UV exposure, pool chemicals, and blistering, so the color you pick is the color you keep.
The seven colors, one at a time
This is the classic pool blue most people picture. Bright, vibrant, and tropical. In full sun it reads like vacation water. If you want the pool to be the star of the backyard, this is the one.
Tahiti Blue
A softer, calmer blue than Tahiti. It sits back a little instead of shouting, which makes it a great fit for yards with established landscaping where you want the whole space to feel unified.
Maldives Blue

Amalfi Turquoise
The lightest color in the lineup. A pale grey base with a subtle sparkle that keeps the water looking bright and clean, even under the shade of mature trees, which matters in a lot of Northern Virginia backyards.
Exuma Silver
A classic mid grey with fine blue flecks. It reads modern without feeling cold, and it is the most forgiving color when it comes to hiding pollen and small debris between cleanings.
Gibraltar Grey
A warm, beach-inspired tone that gives the water a natural lagoon look. If your home has earth-toned brick or stone, this color ties the pool into the house instead of contrasting with it.
Seychelles Sand
The boldest choice in the palette. Deep, dramatic, and reflective, especially in the evening. Dark water mirrors the sky and the landscape around it. It is a statement, and in the right yard it is stunning.

How does pool color change the look of the water?
The water in your pool is clear. What you see is the shell color underneath it, filtered through depth and light. That means the same color can look different at the shallow tanning ledge than it does in the deep end, and different at noon than at dusk.
Lighter colors like Exuma Silver keep the water bright and make a pool feel larger and more open. Mid tones like Maldives Blue and Gibraltar Grey give you that rich, inviting depth. Dark colors like Bora Bora Black turn the surface into a mirror, which is dramatic in the evening with landscape lighting.
Do darker pool colors make the water warmer?
A little, yes. Darker shells absorb more sunlight, so a Bora Bora Black pool will run a few degrees warmer than an Exuma Silver pool in the same yard. In Northern Virginia, where the swim season is real but not endless, some families see that as a bonus. If you plan to add a heater either way, the difference matters less, and you should pick the color you love looking at.
Which color is right for your backyard?
Here is how I walk families through it during a consultation:
Look at your sun. Full sun yards can carry any color. Shaded yards usually look best with lighter shells that keep the water bright.
Look at your hardscape. Cool grey pavers pair naturally with the blues and greys. Warm stone and brick pair with Seychelles Sand and Amalfi Turquoise.
Look at your evenings. If you will use the pool area at night with lighting, the darker colors reward you with reflection. If the pool is mostly a daytime family space, brighter colors keep it lively.
When I visit your yard, I bring physical gelcoat samples so you can see the real colors in your own light, not on a screen. Screens lie. Sunlight does not.
